The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling genomics data (whole genome shotgun of long- and short-read platforms, transcriptomes, Hi-C) to assemble, annotate, and extract information from (preferably plant) genome assemblies. Familiarity in interacting and working with wet lab and software engineers will be highly valued, as well as scripting and workflow management skills.
